Here at Orchard Valley, we are very proud to announce we recently won our first Q award for our Lemon Drizzle Cake Mix, this was a product developed by our applications Chef Stephen Hemingway and assisted by John Young, Sophie James, Eleanor Agnew, Sarah Wylde, Carl Gittens and Matt Cerrone.

This kit was part of a range of five, the Lemon Drizzle Cake Home Baking Kit means consumers of all ages can create one of the UK’s favourite cakes, using just the addition of eggs, water and butter.

Flavoured with Sicilian lemons, layered with zingy butter icing and topped with a citrusy drizzle, the finished lemon cake was praised for its delicious home-made texture and taste.

Other kits in the range produced for the Co-op by Orchard Valley Foods include a Rich Belgian Chocolate Fudge Cake, Star Fairy Cakes, Piñata Cup Cakes and a Salted Caramel & Chocolate Thumbprint Cookie.
